1. During treatment, carbon dioxide gas needs to be injected into the skin or subcutaneous tissue with a thin needle. There may be a slight tingling sensation similar to a normal injection when the needle penetrates the skin, but because the needle is very thin, this pain is usually short-lived and can be tolerated by most people.

2. Swelling or pain during gas injection: When carbon dioxide gas is injected subcutaneously, there will be a noticeable “expansion feeling” locally, which may be accompanied by slight soreness or pain, similar to the feeling of the skin being stretched for a short time. This feeling is related to the amount of gas injected and the location (for example, areas with thinner skin such as around the eyes may be more sensitive), but it usually subsides quickly after the gas gradually diffuses.
