The effect is very good, the picture is very clear, and the price is high. Its 512×384 resolution and 20mk thermal sensitivity make it possible to see clearly even in dark environments.
Thermal imaging detects infrared radiation based on temperature differences in an object. Water strongly absorbs far-infrared radiation, making it difficult for it to penetrate. Furthermore, the body temperature of fish is very close to that of the surrounding water, with no significant temperature difference between the two. Therefore, thermal imaging cameras cannot effectively identify fish in water.
Thermal imagers cannot penetrate walls and can only detect temperature differences on the wall surface.
